Meatcutter Supervisor

Plan, organize, and direct the meat department operations. Supervise and provide direction to subordinate employees within the department. Ensure workload requirements are met to include establishing prices for all meat products sold. Inspect equipment and check temperature level regularly. Conduct frequent inspections of work areas to ensure regulatory compliance with sanitary and safety policies. Maintain production record and reports. Candidates applying under merit promotion must have completed three months of civilian service after a competitive appointment by the closing date of the announcement. (5 CFR 330.501) Examples of qualifying experience include:
Process beef, pork, veal, and lamb into varying types and size of steaks and roasts to include special order crown roast into retail and ready to eat cuts. Use tools common to the trade to include handsaws, bonedusters, electric saws, meat tenderizers, slicers, and grinders. Lead and instruct subordinates in specific tasks and job techniques. Monitor employees' work schedules, performance, conduct, and training needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
