Duties include interviewing patients, preparing standard registration forms, and performing other admission or transfer related tasks.
May be expected to perform clerical and secretarial work.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Reports to an Admitting Supervisor and the Patient Access Director.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and minimum of 1 year work experience in a related field.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Must be able to multitask and think quickly in a fast pace environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
