4 Milton, FL Milton, FL Full-time Full-time $15 - $18 an hour $15 - $18 an hour Gulf Cable is looking to hire a knowledgeable operator to operate a Copper Wire Screening Machine and/or Aluminum/Copper Wire Stranding Machine.
These machines process several copper or aluminum wires; they apply around center core or bunch them to make conductor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Has run screening or stranding machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.
Can set-up the screening or stranding machine independently from selection of tooling, set-up of pay-off and take-up, setting running parameters and monitoring the Quality of Product consistently.
Familiar with electronic screens (Human Machine Interface) for controlling the screening or stranding process.
Good Mechanical skills with ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
Must maintain consistent log of production and Quality per Gulf Cable systems.
